Since october 2009, with the support of the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA) we are working on a bibliographical research dedicated to the published work of Manuel �lvarez Bravo. A book will be published in october 2012, ten years after don Manuel's death.

This research embraces bibliographical, journalistic and biographical aspects. Up to date we have consulted more than 450 publications, including magazines, newspapers, books and catalogues. 357 new references were found and added to the database, with a total of 1277 records, highlighting �lvarez Bravo, collaboration in publications such as 'The New York Times', 'Aperture', 'Our Mexico', 'El Gallo Ilustrado', 'Minotaure' and 'Camera'.
